An article about the new IRMOS real-time scheduler for Linux appeared on lwn.net, a website dedicated to the latest features available for the Linux kernel (both mainline and experimental), mainly targeting the community of Linux kernel developers and experienced users willing to try/test the latest features.
Paul McKenney will be visiting the RETIS on 28 July 2010, at 11.00 in the Blue room. He will provide us with a short talk on Linux, synchronization and scalability issues (details follow below) then a short introduction of the research activities in the OS area will follow.
Benjamin Kuch, currently PhD student of the RETIS Lab, has got the Best PhD student paper award at the Seventh Workshop on Intelligent Solutions in Embedded Systems (WISES 09).
