Anna Lina Ruscelli is a research fellow at Scuola Superiore S. Anna of Pisa, Italy, since October 2005.
Her current research activities span several areas, including:
- design and performance evaluation of scheduling algorithms for Quality of Service provisioning in wireless computer networks with soft real-time constraints;
- design and evaluation of cross-layer framework architectures for providing Quality of Service in heterogeneus wireless networks;
- Quality of Service provisioning and analysis for 4G systems;
- MAC protocols;
- IEEE 802.11e networks;
- wireless link emulation;
- ERTMS/ETCS systems.
.
Results of her research and projects activities are disseminated through publications on journals and on proceedings of international conferences.
She is a member of the ACM and IEEE.
During her studies she got a PhD in Computer Sciences in 2011 at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna with a dissertation on "Quality of service support over heterogeneous networks" under the supervision of Prof. Giuseppe Lipari.
She graduated in Electronic Engineering in 2005, from the University of Perugia, with a master thesis on "Design and implementation of a mobile robot with hybrid locomotion" under the supervision of Dott. Antonio Ficola.
In 2009 she visited the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, working with Assist. Prof. Sathish Gopalakrishnan on QoS support and models for Wireless Sensor Networks.
