I was born in Fiesole (near Florence, Italy) in 1982 and I now live in Empoli (still near Florence, Italy).

I did my PhD at RETIS Lab, Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, in Pisa (Italy). My full resume is available here: English or Italian.

During the PhD I worked on real-time scheduling within the Linux kernel, and got the chance to present some of what I did at the 2010 Linux Kernel Summit (I'm the one at the very bottom-left in the picture). I'm currently employed by Citrix and I'm working on the Xen Open Source hypervisor.
