Professional skills
His leading research topics cover Scheduling Theory, Operating Systems and Energy management for Real-Time systems, focusing on the integration of Real-Time enhancements in different application fields, from e-Health devices to autonomous and distributed systems.
He has been the local coordinator of the FP7 JUNIPER project as well as several industrial projects exploiting the ReTiS Lab research outcomes.
Cofounded in February 2013 BioCare Provider s.r.l., and remained parter till its acquisition by Camlin Group Ltd. in February 2018. The company uses the most modern web and mobile technologies to improve adherence to therapies, and it is accredited as a spin-off both at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the University of Pisa.
Received the Italian scientific qualification (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale 2018) as Associate Professor in Computer Engineering (Sector 09/H1 - Sistemi di Elaborazione delle Informazioni) in September 2019.
Received the Italian qualification to practice as an Professional Engineer in 2004.
