ACTIVE PROJECTS
SPHERE SEPTEMBER 2019 - AUGUST 2022: Software architecture for Predictable HEterogeneous REal-time systems. Italian Ministry of University and Research (MIUR) within the PRIN 2017 programme, grant number 93008800505A. Research Program of National Interest (PRIN) funded by the Ministry of Instruction, University and Research (MIUR) to provide an integrated operating system framework to abstract the hardware complexity of cutting-edge multi-core platforms and simplify the management of heterogeneous computational resources.
AMPERE (2018- 2022) A Model-driven development framework for highly Parallel and EneRgy-Efficient computation supporting multi-criteria optimisation. Founded by the EU under the H2020 programme.
Department of Excellence in Robotics & AI (2018-2022). Funded by the MIUR.

The “Robotics & AI” Program stems from the collaboration between The BioRobotics Institute and TeCIP Institute (Communication, Information and Perception Technologies). The aim is to create a new generation of robot able to have an effective and autonomous impact on the society.

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Material Science will allow the design of robots for applications such as land transport, space travel, energy, medicine, agriculture and art.
